Jalandhar: Ind councillor, dist-level Cong leader join AAP

An Independent councillor and three other leaders, including a district-level officer-bearer in Mahila Congress, today joined the Aam Aadmi Party here.
Councillor Darshanlal Bhagat, Congress leader Harsimrat Kaur, veterinary doctor Sukhchain Singh and Gymkhana Club's Gulshan Kumar joined the party, AAP's regional observer Rajeev Chaudhary said.
Darshanlal was earlier with the BJP but he left the party after it denied him Assembly ticket in 2012.
Assembly polls in Punjab are scheduled next year and AAP plans to fight the elections in big way.
