The 37-year-old actor posted a bare-chested Instagram selfie that shows him sporting an enormous tattoo of a devil on his chest, which he captioned with the film's title.
"Image is gonna be leaked anyway, so here it is first. EXCLUSIVE," he said.
Franco is directing and producing the "The Long Home" and the Instagram pic indicates that actor will have a role in the indie drama as well.
Based on William Gay's 1999 novel, the film stars "Hunger Games" heartthrob Josh Hutcherson as a young man in 1940s Tennessee who finds himself employed by the bootlegger who murdered his father 10 years earlier.
