Anirban Lahiri ended the week with a birdie but only managed 55th place finish in his maiden appearance at the BMW PGA Championships while Jeev Milkha Singh ended tied 51st, here tday.
Jeev's 74 on final day meant he slipped after being 35th overnight.
"I did manage to get all four rounds and that was important. Yet, I must confess it was a disappointing end to the week. I felt I never really had any momentum going," Lahiri said.
Lahiri had birdies on fourth and 18th and dropped shots on second, seventh and 15th. Jeev had four birdies against six bogeys. Lahiri and Jeev move onto Irish Open next week alongwith Shiv Kapur
"It was on the third day, that I probably played the best golf of the week. Yet, it was frustrating to drop so many shots. I was not been able to stop dropping shots when I get into a spot of bother. Still, I have to admit overall the game seems to be improving," Lahiri said.
Rookie Byeong hun-An, son of two Olympic table tennis medallists - father Ahn Jae-hyung represented Korea and his mother Jiao Zhimi represented China - won his maiden title with a masterly final round of seven-under 65.
He finished at 21-under and a record total of 267 and he was a whopping six shots ahead of the flamboyant Miguel Angel Jimenez (67) and Thongchai Jaidee (68), who both ended at 15-under.
Overnight leader Francesco Molinari faltered on the final day with five bogeys and a double bogey against five birdies and finished fifth at 12-under 276.
