Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said cartoonist R K Laxman found a fond place in the hearts of people through his 'common man' depictions and his death has left an irreparable loss to the media world.
The void created in the social and political spheres in the country following his demise would be difficult to fill up, he said.
In his condolence message, Das prayed that may his soul rest in peace.
94-year-old Laxman died in Mumbai yesterday.
