Justice Deepak Gupta sworn-in as Chief Justice of C'garh HC

Justice Deepak Gupta was today sworn-in as the new Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon administered him the oath of office at a function at Raj Bhawan here.
Gupta was earlier the Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court.
Chhattisgarh Chief MinisterRaman Singh, Speaker of the state Assembly Gaurishankar Agarwal, state cabinet ministers and others were present on the occasion.
The Governor hoped that under the guidance of the new Chief Justice, there will be speedy disposal of cases.
