Justice Syed Rafat Alam appointed CAT Chairman

Alam, who has also been the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, has assumed the charge as Chairman, CAT from August 8, 2012, an official statement from the tribunal said.

The Central Administrative Tribunal has been established for adjudication of disputes with respect to recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed to public services and posts under the control of Government of India.
