Singer-actor Justin Timberlake is reportedly being lined up to host next year's Oscars ceremony after impressing Academy Award producers with his stint on US chat show 'Saturday Night Live'.
The 32-year-old pulled in a record number of viewers on his debut as host and Oscars bosses are said to be keen to rope in the the 'Mirror' hitmaker, reported Sun Online.
"Getting Justin to host would now be a huge coup for the Oscars. He'd been considered before, but they always thought he was too young and not seasoned enough.
"But now he's the front runner for the job after showing he knows how to sing, dance, host and improvise on the spot," a source said.
Current Oscars host Seth MacFarlane sparked controversy this year with a series of risque remarks in his role.
The 'Family Guy' creator mocked female actresses who had gone topless during performances with his song 'We Saw Your Boobs'.
