The New Delhi-Kanpur-New Delhi Shatabdi Express and the Kamakhya-Gandhidham Kamakhya Express are being equipped with additional coaches to accommodate more passengers.
The Kanpur Shatabdi has been provided with one additional Chair Car coach with immediate effect till December from both directions, said a senior Northern Railway official.
Kamakhya-Gandhidham weekly express shall be provided with two additional sleeper and one second class coaches from December 11 to cater to the growing demand of the train.
A special AC train for Bhubaneswar from the capital will be operational from December 8.
