Kerala Assembly to pay homage to Karthikeyan tomorrow

Kerala Assembly will be adjourned for the day tomorrow after paying respects to late Speaker G Karthikeyan.
Deputy Speaker N Shakthan, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan and other party leaders will speak on the occassion, an official release said today.
All other scheduled business, including the Motion of Thanks to the Governor for his Address, have been rescheduled, it said.
66-year-old Karthikeyan passed away following multiorgan failure at Bengaluru hospital yesterday battling liver cancer.
This is the first time that the Speaker of the Kerala Assembly has passed away when the House is in session.
