"We have been getting good response for Clean My Coach facility. It is helping us to serve the travelers better," KRCL Public Relation Manager Baban Ghatge told PTI.
As a part of commitment made by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in his budget speech the KRCL has launched this initiative wherein the passenger can call the housekeeping staff by sending a message if the coach is found unclean.
Ghatge said the facility is currently introduced on Konkan Kanya and Mandovi Express trains which are plying between Madgao (Goa) to Mumbai.
"Konkan Railway always strives to provide better amenities and facilities to its esteemed passengers for their comfortable journey to ensure customer satisfaction," he said.
"This is part of the Swachh Bharat - Swachh Rail Mission of our Prime Minister and Minister of Railways," Ghatge added.
