The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 29.98 crore in the year ago period.
Net sales during the July-September quarter rose to Rs 1296.87 crore as compared to Rs 1072.75 crore in the year ago period, the company said in a statement.
Speaking on the company's results, Kwality Ltd Executive Director Sidhant Gupta said: "The fast growing economy, increasing income and changing lifestyle of consumers has opened up a new horizon in the dairy industry. We are satisfied with a growth in sales of 21 per cent in this quarter."
The company has six milk processing units in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan. It also has pan-Indian distribution network.
It sells milk and other value added products including pure ghee, curd, skimmed milk powder, lassi and other dairy products under its umbrella brand 'Dairy Best'.
