She said in her complaint to the Delhi Commission for Women that Sharma in recent times allegedly used "improper" language against her several times including during sessions of Delhi Assembly.
"During the one day special session of Delhi Assembly, he used improper language against me several times and the Speaker had removed it from the proceedings of the Assembly. Also, during a convention on August 7, he threatened me saying that I was quite active and I should better be careful."
"The most unfortunate thing about the incident was that it occurred in presence of 8 policemen who failed to stop the attack," she said.
Adding that the incident occurred when she started her anti-drug campaign at Priayadarshini colony of Yamuna Bazar, Lamba said that she was apprised of drug menace by the locals during a Mohalla Sabha meeting.
"I was appealed by the locals specially the women to stop the drug menace so that crime in the area could go down," the AAP MLA said.
She expected the DCW chairperson to use her "powers" and initiate legal action against the BJP MLA OP Sharma.
"I hope that you will use your power against BJP MLA OP Sharma so that the anti drug campaign could continue and women could feel safe with decrease in crime in the area.
