"I am leaving my show because I want to grow as an actor. When you do a hit show for three years, you get stuck to a similar image. There is no scope left for growth. But as an actor, I want to do different kind of work," Ram said.
With the TV drama, the 41-year-old actor has created a special place for himself on TV.
The actor is playing a triple role in the comedy film.
Asked whether he had any inhibition about dressing up as a woman in the film, Ram said, "I have known Sajid for 20 years. More than a director, he is a close friend to me. I was only concerned about the fact that the film should not be vulgar so that I can take my two children to watch it.
