Leopard's cub killed, poacher arrested

A poacher was arrested by the forest guards for allegedly killing a cub of a leopard in Kakraha range of Katarniaghat wildlife sanctuary.
Forest guards spotted some persons with weapons moving in suspicious manner and chased them in the Kakraha range last evening, project officer WWF Dabir Hasan said.
He said that while others managed to flee, one person identified as Sukhram was arrested and body of the cub was recovered from his possession.
Hasan said that a case had been lodged against Sukhram.
