Meanwhile, Patekar said that the education department was involved in creating mass awareness among students, teachers and parents about ill effects of tobacco.
"This year we have decided to arrange a mass oath taking programme across the schools in the district in which the students, teachers, parents and the villagers are to repeat the oath recoded in the voice of the CEO Kalshetti," she added.
"We are also in touch with the offices of the Limca Book of World records and the India Book of World Records for the programme," Patekar said.
According to the officer, Mumbai-based 'Salam Mumbai Foundation' has extended their co-operation for the programme.
