Man arrested for 'kidnapping' minor girl

A man, his wife and son have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl of Khushhalpura village of Bah tehsil of the district, police said.
According to a complaint lodged with the police by the parents of the victim, the girl went missing around midnight on Tuesday night from her home while she was sleeping near her mother.
An alarm was raised and a search was conducted by the relatives of the girl and other villagers, but she was not found.
The parents then feared that that she (girl) might have been in the house of a man, whom they allege to be a BJP functionary, who lived in the village along with his family.

Local BJP leaders, however, have "denied any association with the accused man."
BJP Brij Pradesh President, Purushottam Khandelwal "denied" that the arrested man was a member of the BJP.

After reaching the accused man's house, efforts to open the door of his house failed, upon which police was informed, yesterday morning.
The police got the door opened and found the girl in a distraught condition under a bed in the house.
The accused have been arrested and sent to jail while the girl has been sent for a medical examination, police said.
