Man hangs self over non-payment of salary

A 45-year-old sales manager of a private company here hanged himself allegedly over non-payment of salary for three months, police said today.
The body of Uchenchandra, who hailed from Karnataka, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room by the police after he did not respond to repeated calls of his neighbours.
Uchenchandra used to stay alone in a rented room in Panki area of the city.
A suicide note was found pasted on the wall saying that his company had not paid him three months salary due to which he was forced to end his life, police said.

The owner of the company in which Uchenchandra worked has been questioned, police said, adding that investigation in the case is in progress.
Uchenchandra's body was sent for post-mortem while his family in Karnataka has been informed about his death, a police official said.
