Man killed, 11 injured in mishap

A man was killed and 11 others injured when a van carrying a marriage party overturned on Noorpur-Haldaur Road near Paijania village here, police said today.
The driver, Sanjay Kumar (30), lost control over the vehicle and it overturned killing him on the spot and injuring 11 passengers last evening, police said.
Four of the seriously injured passengers have been admitted to the district hospital and the rest at the health centre at Paijania, police said.
Passengers alleged that the driver was drunk.
All the passengers belonged to Khatapur village and were returning after attending a marriage at a village in Amroha district.
