Man killed for demanding money from teacher

A man was beaten to death allegedly by the activists of an ultra group 'Janhit Kranti Sangathan' for demanding levy from a school teacher at Jamgai village in Raidih police station of Gumla district, police today said.
The victim, Shiv Pradhan's mother Angani Devi has lodged an FIR in this connection against unknown persons, the police said.
The victim's family members claimed that Pradhan along with a cousin had been to a fair in the village.
The matter was brought to notice of police immediately after the family members came to know about it today.
Pradhan had allegedly demanded levy from the teacher of a Middle School.
Police have arrested four persons in this connection after it began investigation.
