Man kills wife of former landlord

A man, along with his two aides, killed the 27-year-old wife of his former landlord and looted valuable items from her house in Govind Nagar area of Mathura district, police said today.
Jyoti Devi, wife of Dinesh, was killed using sharp-edged weapons in her Radhey Shyam Colony residence here last night, they said.
Investigators suspect that Suresh, who was living in the house on rent till two months ago, was behind the murder.
"A hunt is on for Suresh. A police team has also been sent to his native place Banda. The exact amount of the loot is also being verified," deputy superintendent of police Anil Yadav said, adding "Suresh was helped by Hema and Manoj of the same colony".

Police said the children of the deceased - Puneet (8) and Krishna (6) -- have identified Dinesh among the culprits and added he is at present working as a wage labourer in Delhi.
