Man sets wife on fire for denying divorce
Meherchand poured kerosene on Malti and set her ablaze when she was alone at her mother's home, police said, adding, he then fled from the scene.
On hearing her screams, neighbours came and doused the fire and rushed her to hospital with severe burns, they said.
Police has lodged a case against Meherchand and started investigation.
