In his complaint, victim's son alleged that Omvir (52) was attacked this morning by Ghanshyam when he was going to the fields, said SHO Virendra Yadav.
The victim is the eye-witness in the murder of his son that took place five months back, and the father of the attacker is the key accused in the case and is currently in jail, Yadav said.
Omvir has been admitted to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi where his condition is stated to be critical, he said adding a case has been lodged into the matter and efforts are on to arrest Ghanshyam, they said.
