four car-borne persons on Salhawas-Kosli road near Kosali today, police said.
The attackers took away the revolver of 26-year-old Sonu before shooting him dead, they said.
A resident of Salhawas village in Jhajjar district, Sonu, aged 26, was heading towards Kosli on his motorcycle when the car, carrying the assailants, hit his vehicle.
Police believed Sonu and the car-occupants had heated exchanges before the former was shot dead.
A massive hunt had been launched to nab the attackers, police said.
