Man strangled to death
by unidentified persons in Majhuwa village in Bihar's Purnia district, police said today.
The victim, identified as Ashok Mahto, was badly beaten by the assailants yesterday before being strangled with a rope round his neck, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Satish Kumar said.
The motive behind Mahto's murder was under investigation, he said.
