A self-made culinary professional and one of the most prominent faces in the Indian food industry, Pankaj is well- known for her devotion to the culinary arts; a passion that made her quit a 16-year career in teaching and won her the first MasterChef India title in 2010.
With butter, flour, cocoa powder and tonnes of chocolate chips, a bunch of bright-eyed kids circled around the chef and were more than ready to make their two-minute chocolate desserts.
"Indian recipes enjoy the benefits of fresh ingredients, a variety of flavours, simple cooking methods and an abundance of seasonal herbs and spices, that help people make healthy choices on a daily basis without having to compromise on time or ease. It is some of these easy tips and tricks I am sharing with the young visitors at this festival," she added.
Pankaj has hosted many TV shows and is the face of well- known food brands in India and abroad.
