sodomised by a 20-year-old youth in Kalyan city in the district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the victim was returning home after attending tutorials and was way laid by the accused into premises of a private school in Kalyan, API P M Ejare of Kolsewadi police station said.
The accused, identified as Avinash Shelar, sodomised the 15-year-old student and warned him of dire consequences if he narrated the ordeal, he said.
Following a complaint, Shelar was booked under relevant sections of IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POSCO) Act, and arrested this morning, police said, adding investigations are underway.
