Mizoram has around 7 lakh voters

Mizoram has an electorate of 6,96,448 voters after the special summary revision of electoral rolls in the state, a senior official of the election commission said here today.
Female voters continued to outnumber their male counterparts by 12,580, state joint chief electoral officer H Lalengmawia said, adding that there were 3,54,514 female voters while the number of male voters was 3,41,934.
The final publication of the revision was made public in the city as well as in all district headquarters of seven districts today, he said.
There was 1.39 per cent rise in the number of voters as against last year's draft electoral rolls, Lalengmawia added.
