Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to host an Iftar party in Srinagar on July 17.
He will be visiting Jammu on July 17 to attend a function to mark the 100th birth anniversary of former MP and minister Girdhari Lal Dogra and go to Srinagar on the same day, sources said.
July 17 is the last Friday before Eid-ul-Fitr which will celebrated either on July 18 or July depending on the sighting of the moon.
Last year, Modi was in Srinagar on Diwali day in the backdrop of the devastation caused by the worst floods in Jammu and Kashmir in 100 years.
