A mother along with her daughter sustained injuries after lightning struck them at a remote Kantolguri Village in Meghalaya's North Garo Hills district, the police said.
Afilin Momin and her 23-year-old daughter Panme Momin were injured when lightning struck them, while they were sleeping in two adjacent rooms, a senior police officer said.
