The Chennai-based tyre manufacturer reported net profits of Rs 180.22 crore in October-December quarter of the previous year, MRF Ltd said in a filing to the stock exchanges.
MRF Ltd follows September-October as its financial year.
For the financial year ending September 30, 2013 the standalone net profits of the company stood at Rs 802.21 crore.
The standalone total income from operations for the first quarter ending December 31, 2013 grew to Rs 3,200.57 crore from Rs 3,025.75 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
Shares of the company ended at Rs 19,359.65 apiece down by 2.49 per cent over previous close in BSE.
