Mumbai: 2 house breaking thefts, 7 attempted burglaries

Two house-breaking thefts and seven attempted burglaries were reported from suburban Bhandup here in the wee hours today, police said.
The thieves managed to steal a laptop and four gram of gold from these thefts, which took place at 4 AM in some hutments in Konkan Nagar and Tambepada area, an official attached to the Bhandup police station said.
We have gone through the CCTV footage of the area, where the thefts took place, and four thieves are involved in the crime, police said, adding they are taking help of a god squad.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigations are underway, they said.

On May 7, as many as nine house-breaking thefts and six attempts for such burglaries were reported in the Kahnjurmarg here in a span of six hours.
Police said they are now linking the thefts that have taken place in Bhandup and Kanjurmarg and suspect it to be handiwork of one gang.
