Stepping up TDP's campaign for the removal of "tainted" ministers in the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh, party president N Chandrababu Naidu would meet President Pranab Mukherjee tomorrow.
Naidu would lead a delegation of party MPs, MLAs and other leaders and explain the issue to the President, TDP sources said here today.
The TDP president had earlier met Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan and demanded that the "tainted" ministers be removed from the Cabinet.
TDP has earlier called for protest rallies in all the assembly segments in the state over the issue tomorrow, sources said.
Two state ministers -- D Prasada Rao and Sabita Reddy -- have been made accused in the cases involving YSR Congress leader Jaganmohan Reddy and they had offered to quit their posts but were asked to continue.
Three other ministers have been under the CBI scanner, while two others faced allegations of impropriety and wrong-doing.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy held discussions with Congress leadership in Delhi last week on the issue of the "tainted" ministers.
Speculation is rife that some of the ministers would be asked to step down.
Roads and Buildings Minister D Prasada Rao has reportedly been asked by the Chief Minister to meet him, which triggered speculation over the issue.
