National junior basketball championship in Odisha from Sep 1

The 64th National Basketball Championship for junior men and women will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha from September 1-8.
Chhattisgarh won the championships in both categories last year in Puducherry and will be looking to defend their titles.
A total of 46 teams, 23 boys and girls each, from various states will participate in the event. The format will be league-cum-knockout.
The tournament is being organised by the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) in association with Odisha Basketball Association (OBA).
