NCP to hold its 2-day national convention from Sept 15 in Guj

"The fifth national convention of NCP is being held on September 15-16 at Vadodara in Gujarat which will be presided over by National President NCP Sharad Pawar," state NCP chief Thakur Randhir Singh said at a party working committee meeting here today.

Sharad Pawar, who has been elected unanimously as National NCP president for the fifth consecutive time, will take charge at the convention in presence of 28 state presidents, central office bearers and national delegates, Singh said.

The convention apart from chalking out the comprehensive programmes of the party, will discuss the political and national issues confronting the country and various other states, he said.
