"The domicile policy defined by the state government is not in the interest of the people as it deprives the rights of adivasis and moolwasis, which JMM will not tolerate," Soren said on the eve of JMM's statewide bandh tomorrow.
Addressing the May 16 by-poll meeting in support of party candidate Shashibhusan Mehta in Panki Assembly seat, the former chief minister claimed Jharkhand was created 16 years ago after a prolonged battle by the JMM but external forces have grabbed power.
"The JMM's priority is to ensure rights of forest produce and mineral rights to tribals and moolwasis," Soren added.
