NHRC to hold public hearing to deal with grievances of SCs
The complaints from SCs on atrocity committed by a public servant or of negligence by a public servant in prevention of will be heard in the one-day hearing on September 13.
Prior to this, the Commission has held open hearings of complaints on atrocities against Scheduled Castes in Odisha, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
