Nine injured in communal flare up in Damnagar

There were disputes between members of two communities for many years over the temple land adjacent to graveyard, police said.

The issue flared up today and heavy stone pelting was reported from both the sides, police said, adding that the mob also damaged a state transport bus.

Nine persons were injured in the incident and they have been shifted to Amreli district hospital.

Police forces have reached the spot and brought the situation under control, they added.
