"The envoy met Vohra at Raj Bhavan and discussed with him issues relating to the implementation in J&K of the several programmes, under the Norway-India Partnership Initiative 2013-17," an official spokesman said.
Recalling his experiences as the founder co-chairman of the Indo-European Union Round Table (2001-08), the Governor complimented the ambassador for his country's sustained support to human development programmes, particularly in the arena of health, from which India had benefitted immensely through aid under NORAD.
He said the Governor also referred to the high potential of Indo-Norwegian collaboration in the education sector and fostering of joint research programmes in identified fields.
