The notices were issued by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Balraj Singh, an official release said.
As per the notices, Ashwini Kumar along with numerous party workers took out a procession of 30-35 vehicles from Namaste Chowk to Ghantaghar Chowk and then to Shri Krishna Temple at Sector 14, Karnal on March 21.
The party had not taken permission for this, thus violating the Model Code of Conduct.
Kumar is pitted against sitting Congress MP Arvind Kumar Sharma, Maratha Virender Verma (BSP) and Jaswinder Singh Sandhu (Indian National Lok Dal).
