One of the five persons, accused of killing a trader earlier this month at Dasna town, was arrested here.
Sonu Naagar was arrested yesterday from Dasna intersection by Masuri police for shooting trader Krishan Kumar Goyal dead on October 3, while the victim was sitting at his grocery shop in 'Peepal Dudhiya' muhalla of Dasna town, SP (rural area), Rakesh Pandey said.
One .315 bore country made pistol and a live cartridge were recovered from Naagar's possession, he said.
The police in a press conference, claimed that Naagar had admitted to his crime and also revealed the names of his accomplices.
Naagar said that he killed the trader for not giving 'rangdari' (unofficial tax or hafta), along with the help of Stender, Mohit, Rakesh and Man Singh, police said.
Efforts are on to nab the remaining accused, they added.
