One killed, seven injured in gas cylinder explosion

A 6-year-old boy was killed and seven others were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in Nargadi village here, police said today.
A gas cylinder used to fill balloons exploded killing the child and severing the arms of the balloon seller and a customer, SHO of Nehtaur Ata Mohammad said.
Five others were seriously injured.
Villagers rushed the injured to the CHC from where they were sent to the District Hospital by the police.
The balloon seller was referred to Meerut Hospital as his condition was serious, he added.
