Online campaigns by Delhi Police on social issues

Starting tomorrow, Delhi Police will roll out a series of online campaigns to create awareness among people about a whole range of issues including women safety and drunken driving.
"Delhi Police has a credible presence on Twitter and Facebook and it intends to harness this for spreading awareness on issues concerning public safety and security," Additional CP (Economic Offences Wing) Arun Kampani said.
The online campaigns run by the Social Media Cell of Delhi Police will also cover the issues of cyber and road safety among other issues.
It will have slogans and messages ingrained within posters, interactive Q&A sessions and sessions wherein tweets by citizens on public safety topics will be retweeted by official handles of Delhi Police, including the commissioner.
The first social media campaign under this initiative will be on #CyberSafety and it will start from tomorrow, the officer said.
