Over 100 Muslim youths from Marathwada region of Maharashtra have gone missing and they may have joined terrorist group ISIS, Shiv Sena MLA Rahul Patil said in the Assembly today.
Patil alleged the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM supports ISIS and demanded the party be de-recognised.
He referred to the recent arrest of a youth from Parbhani in Marathwada for alleged ISIS links and said even police feel the missing youths may be on way to joining the terror outfit.
AIMIM MLA Waris Pathan rubbished Patil's allegation that his party supports ISIS, calling it "baseless".
"We have always opposed outfits like ISIS," Pathan told reporters.
