The incident happened this morning, when Air India (AI) plane -- operating as flight AI-887 from Delhi to Mumbai -- was being pushed back for take-off at around 10 AM, Air India said.
During this, one of the passenger complained about sickness and the crew immediately informed the pilot, who decided to turn the return the plane back from runway to the terminal, the airline said in a statement.
One more passenger, who was accompanying the unwell passenger, was also deboarded, it said.
After deboarding the sick passenger to airport doctor, the flight took off from Delhi at 11:37 am, the statement said.
