Passing-out parade of 261 Delhi Police constables

The passing-out parade of 261 constables, including 27 women, was held at the Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, marking successful completion of their intensive basic training.
Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Verma reviewed the passing-out parade.
The passing-out parade also included 15 constables (drivers) and 147 jail warders and 26 matrons of Delhi Prisons.
The Commissioner congratulated the trainees and expected them to remain ahead of time by improving their professional skills from time to time to serve the public with more humanitarian approach.
During the basic training the constables were trained in law, police science, criminology, computer application, cyber crime and human rights issues with prominence on professionalism, discipline and good behavior. The training laid special emphasis on safety and security of women.
