Pension cut from corrupt officials: Munda

Munda's direction came against former executive magistrate Chandradeo Sharma after he was found guilty by a departmental probe that the police had arrested him while he allegedly accepted Rs 1500 as 'bribe' in 2001, according to an official release here.

The five per cent amount would be deducted from his pension every month till five years, the release said.

Munda also issued similar directions to cut five per cent from the pension of former district supply officer Ganesh Shankar Singh for allegedly failing to get a proper ration card survey done during his tenure, the release said.
