plumber was hacked to death in a village in Kendrapara district.
The mutilated body of Arabinda Parida with multiple wounds was retrieved today from the backyard of a government-run primary school in Narendrapur village under Aul police station jurisdiction, the police said.
The deceased was a plumber based in Delhi and had returned home last week, Sub Divisional Police Officer, Patamundai circle, Uma Shankar Maharana said.
The body bore deep cut marks on his head, throat, chest and lower abdomen.
Police are yet to elicit any clue regarding the identity of the murderers and the motive of the crime.
However, the police are yet to arrive at any conclusion, the SDPO said.
