: Leader of People's Movement for Nuclear Energy S P Udayakumar, which was in the forefront in the campaign against Kudankulam Nuclear Energy project, today held a workshop here for NGOs and environmental outfits to elicit their views on local issues.
Some 25 representatives from Farmers' Forums, Palar Protection Forum and Thamizh Desiya Manram, attended the workshop.
Udayakumar said the meeting was intended to mobilise like minded forces into one force to build opinion against the existing political culture. "This is to bring pressure on the parties to ensure people's true will prevails," he said.
