The accused identified as -- Amit, Bhushan Jat, Sonu Jat, Anil Patidar and Yogesh Hinotia -- were nabbed from Bijasan Tekri area under Aerodrome police station limits on a tip off, city Superintendent of Police (West), D K Charovarthy told reporters.
Patidar had hired sharp shooters Amit, Bhushan and Sonu, all hailing from Ghaziabad in UP, to kidnap a petrol pump owner from Dhamnod area in adjoining Dhar. He wanted to extort Rs 10 crore as ransom for his release, he said.
A pistol, two-country made firearm, 14 bullets and a hide of panther have been seized from their possession.
Search for one more accused - shooter Shobit Deshwal, who fled from the spot, is on, the SP said.
