It is Salman's third ever film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark after his 2014 release "Kick" and this year's other on screen outing "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
"And #PremRatanDhanPayo crosses 200 cr in India. 3rd Salman Khan starrer to attain the feat, after #BajrangiBhaijaan and #Kick... (sic)," tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", which re-united Salman with director Sooraj Barjatya after a gap of 16 years, released this Diwali.
The movie also starred Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Swara Bhaskar in pivotal roles.
